| FAMILY BRIDGE-BUILDING WORKSHOP
August 17, 2008
Frank Pictures Gallery, Bergamot Station

Kids and parents worked together to design, construct, and decorate their own bridges at Bergamot Station.

Using only five sheets of paper, a glue stick and their own creativity, families created spans to support the weight of five rolls of pennies.

Building a strong bridge isn't always as easy as it looks!

Kids built personal memorial bridges dedicated and designed in honor of their favorite people and events.

Kids and parents alike enjoyed constructing their own bridges.

One guest exhibits his creation in front of David Eddington's painting of the Sixth Street Viaduct.

Participants put a lot of thought (and glue) into their projects.

This engineer for the day was excited to show off his creative design.
