About Cross Roads of the World

The Streamline Moderne complex, designed by Robert V. Derrah and built in 1936 on Sunset Boulevard, featured various international shops and was one of the first shopping centers in Southern California.

There will be guided tours of the property from 7 to 8 P.M.

From the first known photograph taken in Los Angeles to its most recent sweeping vistas, this photographic tribute to the City of Angels provides a fascinating journey through the city's cultural, political, industrial, and sociological history through more than 500 images carefully selected by Jim Heimann.
