Youth and Family Tours by Arrangement
The city and its history come alive for kids and adults alike through special abridged versions of the Historic Downtown and Union Station tours, created for youth and multigenerational groups.
Tours can be arranged for weekdays as well as weekends, for a minimum of eight people. For information, contact Annie Laskey at 213-430-4209 or alaskey@laconservancy.org.
Historic Downtown
The Historic Downtown tour covers a little bit of everything, from early Los Angeles history to modern skyscrapers, and from public parks to grand buildings. One-hour and 1-1/2 hour versions of this tour explore some of the landmarks of downtown L.A. in an exciting, hands-on way.
Union Station
This hour-long version of the public tour explores the great Union Station through its beautiful shapes and colors, its relationship to the growth of Los Angeles, and, of course, its train history. Please note: The tour does not include boarding a train. The tour comes with a full-color Kids' Guide to Union Station, which you can also download in Adobe PDF format:

Note: The guide is an unusual size and might not print out very well. You can contact the Conservancy to request a printed copy, free of charge. Call us at (213) 623-2489 or e-mail info@laconservancy.org.
