Founded in 1980, Architectural Resources Group is a medium-size, full-service architectural practice with offices in Pasadena, San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. ARG staff includes architects, designers, historians, planners and materials conservators who work collaboratively to provide a wide range of historic preservation services. The firm brings relevant work experience throughout the Western United States. ARG’s design professionals offer a range of services including new design in historic settings, adaptive reuse, rehabilitation, seismic strengthening, sustainable design, restoration, programming and master planning, and feasibility studies. Our architectural and fine arts conservators specialize in developing appropriate treatments for various historic materials and objects. We maintain a complete in-house conservation laboratory in which conservation and restoration treatments can be developed and tested. ARG’s planning group offers services including historic resources surveys, assessments, and evaluations; environmental review for CEQA and Section 106; rehabilitation tax credit applications; and citywide ordinances and preservation plans.

Bielski has extensive experience in supplying our services for both historical and new construction projects and has worked on projects throughout California. We are certified for lead based paint abatement, by utilizing chemical means, at interior and exterior masonry substrates, including wood surfaces.
