ANAHEIM COUNTRY INN

The home of an early Anaheim mayor, this 1910 Queen Anne house features leaded glass windows and turn-of-the-century furnishings and is surrounded by a full acre of gardens. The living room, front porch, and gardens are available for functions. The site can accommodate up to 75 guests.

BALBOA PAVILION

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the 1906 Balboa Pavilion sports 1,400 lights and turn-of-the-century architecture. Big bands such as Benny Goodman, Count Basie, and the Dorsey Brothers played there in the 1930s, and the pavilion hosted many dance marathons. The waterfront banquet room with a sweeping view of Newport Harbor will accommodate up to 500 guests, or may be divided into two separate rooms for smaller groups. A minimum of 75 guests is required.  There is room for dancing.  There is a varied menu for all occasions. Also available are two boats that can catered by the Harborside Restaurant: The Catalina Flyer and the Pavilion Paddy. See website for more information and photos.

THE BOWERS MUSEUM OF CULTURAL ART

Built in the Mission Revival style for Charles and Ada Bowers in 1936, this building has served as a museum since 1992. There are several areas where weddings and receptions may take place: El Balon (balcony) de Los Niebla, the Curley and Ruby Nobles Courtyard, Topaz Cafe, or the Leo Freedman Foundation Galleria. Music is allowed in certain areas of the museum. The museum can accommodate between 50 and 500 people.

THE BRADFORD HOUSE

Built in 1902, this fifteen-room Victorian Queen Anne-style home is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The porch of the mansion provides a romantic background to exchange your vows. Receptions may be held under canopies in the adjoining lawn area; the Bradford House lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed, and events must be over by 9:00 p.m.

CASA ROMANTICA

This elaborate 1928 Spanish-style house was built by town founder Ole Hanson. It has courtyards, arcades, patios, and beautiful gardens. Up to 250 people can be accommodated both inside and out. Weddings may take place in the courtyard or on a veranda overlooking the ocean. Alcohol is allowed and there is room for dancing. There is only one event scheduled per day. A wedding reception or other special events at Casa Romantica in Laguna Beach provides a beautiful 4,000sq.ft. Grand Ballroom with 30'x40' wood dance floors, chandeliers, mirrors, and Gothic columns.

CHAPMAN CHAPEL & CRYSTAL ROOM BANQUET FACILITY

This beautiful Victorian chapel was built in 1909 and includes a bell tower, carved Gothic altar, fountain courtyard, Victorian dressing rooms, and reception hall. Catering and rentals are available through the facility. Amplified music is allowed. These and other local sites are managed by the Christian Wedding and Event Planning Center.

FULLERTON ARBORETUM

The arboretum offers a variety of settings for outdoor weddings and special events. The steps of Heritage House, a Victorian cottage, and a wisteria-covered arbor are two of the most popular sites, though the twenty-acre grounds also contain a lake and scenic ponds. There is no limit to the number of guests.

THE HACIENDA

Built in the early 1900s, the Hacienda is a historical site complete with fountained courtyards, romantic balconies, antiques, grand staircases, and gazebos. The Hacienda Courtyard provides a gracious setting for large wedding parties, and its unique and versatile setting can accommodate live entertainment and dancing. The Hacienda is also ideal for intimate weddings and receptions in the beautiful sunlit, glass garden room. Beautiful courtyards, fountains and gardens enhance the exterior, and the interior boasts three rooms with fireplaces and other amenities. Up to 500 guests can be accommodated both inside and outside for ceremony and reception.

HERITAGE HILLS HISTORICAL PARK

Heritage Hills Historic Park offers a unique and charming historic setting for a wide variety of special events, and its landscaped grounds include a garden arbor surrounded by a lawn. This four-acre park houses four buildings: the Serrano Adobe, built in 1863; the St. George Chapel, 1892; the School House, 1890; and the Harvey Bennett House, 1908. At the present, ceremonies may take place inside the School House, which can accommodate up to 75 people. There are several locations throughout the grounds to hold outdoor receptions.

KNOTT'S BERRY FARM

Knott's Berry Farm offers complete wedding services to couples looking for a traditional or not-so-traditional wedding. Weddings are held in the 118-year-old Church of Reflections, a nondenominational church on the edge of Reflection Lake. Knott's has been a tradition since 1934. A number of unique reception sites are offered, including Knott's Garden Terrace, Cloud 9 Ballroom, and authentic 1880s Wilderness Dance Hall.

MUCKENTHALER CULTURAL CENTER

This 1924 Mediterranean-style mansion sits on nine acres of park-like grounds. The site is available for special events, although no receptions are allowed inside the mansion. You can have up to 200 guests in the gardens or in the patio and gazebo. Kitchen facilities, chairs, tables, and alcohol permit are provided for reception. Special events are managed by Colette's Catering.

NIXON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND BIRTHPLACE

You can have your wedding ceremony under the same gazebo where Tricia Nixon and Edward Cox were married in the White House Rose Garden. The Amphitheater Gardens offer a magnificently landscaped setting for events of up to 200 guests. The lobby of the Museum can hold up to 300 for a banquet-type reception. There is a recommended list of caterers from which you may select.

TIVOLI TERRACE

Located on the grounds of the world-famous Festival of Arts, which has been running since the 1940s, this outside chapel is nestled against the hillside. It is filled with plants, flowers, and hanging stained glass, giving the feeling of being inside. The nondenominational chapel can accommodate up to 250 guests. Wedding coordinators will help with all arrangements. Number of hours facility is available depends on number of guests.
