What is Last Remaining Seats?
Last Remaining Seats (LRS) is the Los Angeles Conservancy's annual series of classic films and live entertainment in historic theatres.

What started in 1987 as a way to draw attention to L.A.'s historic theatres is now a summer tradition. For more information on the history of the series, see About Last Remaining Seats.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale to members on Wednesday March 28 at 10 a.m. PST and on Wednesday April 11 at 10 a.m. PST to the general public. As always, Los Angeles Conservancy members enjoy advance purchase and discounts on tickets. Join now to receive this benefit.

If you'd like to receive e-mail updates on ticket sales, you can join our Last Remaining Seats e-mail list (check the "Last Remaining Seats" box).

How much do tickets cost?
Advance tickets are $16 each for Conservancy members and $20 each for the general public. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $20 each on the night of the event.

Is there a discount for group tickets?
No. We used to offer a group discount, but we've discontinued this policy.

Can I buy tickets for the whole series?
We'll have a limited number of series tickets available, and they typically sell out very quickly.

How many tickets can I buy at the member price?
If you are a member of the Conservancy, you can buy up to four tickets at the member price per screening per membership number.

Where can I find my member number?
You can find your member number on your membership card, above your address on your newsletter, or above your address on the Last Remaining Seats postcard mailed to all members. If you can't locate your member number, you can request it by contacting the Conservancy office at info@laconservancy.org or (213) 623-2489.

Will the shows sell out?
Most shows sell out before the series opens. Order early to avoid disappointment!

If I purchase tickets but can’t attend, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide ticket refunds or exchanges. If you buy a ticket but don't attend the screening, we will gratefully accept your purchase as a donation. If you attend a screening and have an extra ticket, you can return it to a Conservancy volunteer for resale.

How do I get to the theatres, and where can I park?
We will post a map of the theatres online, and we will send you detailed directions with your tickets.

For downtown theatres, we offer discounted parking validation for the Pershing Square Garage. Bring your ticket with you and purchase a validation sticker at the theatre.

Parking is also available at various rates in surface lots on or near Broadway ($5-10); there's also a limited amount of metered street parking.

We encourage you to use public transportation. The Broadway theatres are conveniently located near the Pershing Square Metro Red Line station at Fifth and Hill Streets. For details on how to take the Metro Rail to Last Remaining Seats, visit metro.net or call 1-800-COMMUTE (266-6883).

Are the screenings general seating?
Yes, all performances are general seating, except for a limited number of seats reserved for Last Remaining Seats sponsors and for Los Angeles Conservancy Cornerstone members (Granite levels and above). For more information, please contact our Development Office at 213-430-4201.

Can I bring my small child or toddler?
We welcome families to Last Remaining Seats! If your child is less than two years old, you can opt not to purchase a ticket for him/her if s/he sits on your lap for the duration of the film.

If your child is two years old or older, you will need to purchase a separate ticket (at the adult price), and s/he will need to sit in his/her own seat.

When do the doors open?
Doors open one hour before the show starts. Typically, the doors open at 7 p.m., the program starts at 8 p.m., and the program ends between 10 and 11 p.m.

Due largely to theatre policy, we cannot allow any ticket holders inside the theatres (the lobby or the auditorium) before the doors open. If you arrive early, you will have to stand in line outside the theatre.

Can I bring food and drink into the theatres?
No outside food or beverages are allowed inside any of the theatres. Each theatre has its own offerings for purchase:

Orpheum - cocktails, soft drinks, water, and snacks
Million Dollar - limited snacks and soft drinks
Los Angeles - water only

The Historic Downtown Retail Project of the Valley Economic Development Center coordinates downtown dining specials during Last Remaining Seats. We encourage you to come early or stay late to take advantage of these specials and explore downtown.

Are the Broadway theatres accessible?
The Orpheum Theatre is wheelchair accessible for both restrooms and seating, and can provide an assisted listening device upon advance request. Please contact the Conservancy at (213) 623-2489 at least twenty-four hours before your visit to arrange for this device.

The Los Angeles Theatre has limited wheelchair accessibility and a single disabled access restroom. No assisted listening devices are available.

The Million Dollar Theatre has limited wheelchair accessibility, and the restroom facilities are not wheelchair accessible. No assisted listening devices are available.

How are the films selected?
The films are chosen through an extensive voting process by our volunteer Last Remaining Seats Committee, a subset of our Historic Theatres Committee. The LRS committee begins the selection process in the fall.

If you'd like to participate in film selection for next year's series, you are welcome to join the LRS committee. For more information, visit the Historic Theatres Committee page of our website.

If you still have questions regarding Last Remaining Seats, please contact the Conservancy office at info@laconservancy.org or (213) 623-2489.
