Seeing the beauty of 1970s architecture can be challenging for some. Join us on this interactive walking tour and get ready to critique some of downtown L.A.’s toughest-to-love buildings. Perhaps in doing so, you’ll really see them for the first time. This tour was provided in-person and as a virtual live stream event.

The Chicano Moratorium: Looking Forward, 50 Years Later
The Conservancy and the 50th Chicano Moratorium Organizing Committee united for a panel discussion reflecting on one of L.A.’s seminal events in the fight for civil rights, and the Conservancy's landmark nominations. The event was offered free of charge. Click here to view a recording.

The '70s Turn 50: Architecture in Los Angeles from a Decade of Change 

We kicked off our yearlong tour + discussion series on Thursday, January 23, 2020 with this special event at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.
