Carthay National Register Nomination Fund
The Los Angeles Conservancy is helping Carthay-area residents raise funds in support of their neighborhood's nomination as a National Register Historic District.
Carthay is a half-square-mile neighborhood, which contains three Historic Preservation Overlay Zones (HPOZ): Carthay Circle, Carthay Square and South Carthay. Each HPOZ is raising funds in support of the nomination. You can help!
The Conservancy will establish and maintain a designated fund to support the research, preparation and nomination of any portion or all of Carthay Circle, Carthay Square and South Carthay neighborhoods as the “Carthay Historic District” (specific naming to be determined at a later date), to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Upon completion, the nomination will be submitted for consideration to the California Office of Historic Preservation and the National Park Service.
Support your favorite Carthay HPOZ or contribute to a general fund. All charitble contributions are tax-deductible and directly support Carthay's nomination efforts.
You can help Carthay become Los Angeles' next Historic District listed in the National Register of Historic Places!
Thank you for your support!
