Adventures in Architecture

In 2009, the Conservancy launched Adventures in Architecture in partnership with the Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), an organization that provides after-school enrichment and summer programs for underserved youth in the Westlake/MacArthur Park community. Since then, we've continued this partnership and are inspired to bring our program to more organizations serving Los Angeles youth!

What We Do

Adventures in Architecture introduces students to historic and culturally significant sites in their neighborhood. During the course of this 6-week program, Conservancy staff  and volunteers lead  students on guided explorations of their city. Activities range widely yet mostly relate to community history, architecture, and preservation of  sites.
