Wednesday, June 23, 2021 - 6:00pm Register

Broadway thrived for decades as the entertainment epicenter of Los Angeles. Magnificent movie palaces drew generations of Angelenos to the city center.

Join us as we virtually trek through some of the grandest theatres on Broadway. Witness their extravagance, while learning about their history and ongoing revitalization.

There are too many theatres for just one tour! Click here for more information about the Broadway theatre tour on June 9.

Tag along with Los Angeles Conservancy and Museum of Neon Art (MONA) docent, Eric Lynxwiller on a virtual tour of the majestic Los Angeles Theatre. Using photographs of exclusive spaces, you'll get up close to the theatre’s famous three-dimensional curtain, and see easy-to-miss architectural details in the stunning French Baroque lobby. Designed by legendary theatre architect S. Charles Lee, the Los Angeles Theater is the one of the most lavish movie palaces on Broadway.

This live stream presentation has been adapted from the Conservancy’s walking tour, "Broadway Historic Theatre and Commercial District Walking Tour."

This presentation will be conducted through Zoom. Information on how to attend will be sent following registration.
