Press Release: The Los Angeles Conservancy brings its beloved classic film series back to Broadway in 2023!

LOS ANGELES, April 19, 2023—Tickets are now on sale for Last Remaining Seats, the Los Angeles Conservancy’s signature classic film series in historic theatres. Last Remaining Seats presents films the way they were meant to be seen: on the big screen, in a spectacular theatre, surrounded by fellow movie fans! The series runs June 3-17, with matinee and evening screenings. Tickets can be purchased $22 for the general public, $18 for Conservancy members, and $16 for youth at laconservancy.org/lrs. Proceeds support the Conservancy’s efforts to preserve Los Angeles County’s cultural and architectural heritage.

After last year’s triumphant return following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conservancy brings an exciting slate of classic films back to where Last Remaining Seats first began: the Broadway Historic Theatre District. The historic district showcases the efforts of the Conservancy and so many others to revitalize the Broadway and the Historic Core.

Films screened during Last Remaining Seats span a range of genres, from silent gems to mystery thrillers and beyond. This year, our lineup embraces all that we love most about the movies: the excitement, the imagination, the suspense, the escapism—it’s all here at Last Remaining Seats 2023. We’re also proud to honor the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros Studios by dedicating two of our six films to “Hollywood’s Greatest Backlot” itself.

We’ll have special guests on hand, interactive in-person experiences, plenty of photo ops, and more than a few surprises to make this Last Remaining Seats experience one you’ll never forget. See you at the movies!
