A destination for readers and zigzag roof-lovers alike, the Canoga Park Library was the first Mid-Century Modern-style library to be named a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.

International Institute of Los Angeles

Founded in 1914, the International Institute of Los Angeles aimed to help immigrant women adapt to life in the United States. The Cultural Heritage Commission (CHC) voted on April 17, 2020 to take the Historic-Cultural Monument nomination under consideration.
