Student Workshop: Discover L.A.'s Broadway

The Historic Broadway Theatre and Commercial District in downtown Los Angeles is home to the largest concentration of historic theatres in the country. Once the entertainment epicenter for downtown residents, the district has evolved over the years.

Let Conservancy educators bring to life this storied historic district for your students. Through a guided in-person or virtual tour, interactive lessons, and craft projects, students explore historic movie palaces and Los Angeles' evolving history and architecture.
Teachers receive additional curriculum for further lesson planning.
Discover L.A.'s Broadway can be customized to support classroom learning and can be provided in one to three sessions.
Please email us at education@laconservancy.org to learn more about Discover Broadway.
