This exciting fundraising event will be held on Sunday, October 27. It will begin with a festive cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a sponsor dinner honoring longtime L.A. Conservancy supporter Trina Turk, a fashion designer and steadfast advocate for California’s culture, landscape, and architecture.

Appeal Hearing on B'nai B'rith Lodge Demolition

The B'nai B'rith Lodge building at 846 Union Street in L.A.'s Westlake neighborhood, once a vibrant center for Jewish and labor community activities, is now slowly undergoing demolition. Despite strong community opposition and from the Conservancy, the City of Los Angeles approved a settlement deal in March permitting the owner to demolish the building with no proposed development.
