Santa Monica Professional Building

This Spanish Colonial Revival building, with Moorish details and baroque ornamentation that draws the eye upwards, has an unusual Y-shaped plan to accommodate sunlight and ocean breezes.

Plans are underway to convert the seven-story structure, which features a penthouse on the top floor, from office and retail space to a hotel.

Hall of Justice

The oldest surviving government building in the Los Angeles Civic Center is an imposing presence with classical detailing and matching facades on all four sides.
