Michael J. Utley is a Senior Writer with The Capital Group, a Los Angeles based investment firm with $2.5 trillion in assets under management. Mike is part of Capital’s thought leadership team and works as a producer on The Capital Ideas Podcast. Prior to joining Capital in 2012, Mike served as the head of public relations at Houlihan Lokey and TCW Group. He started his career as a newspaper reporter, writing for publications in California, New York, and Florida. Mike holds a journalism degree from the University of Southern California.
