Andrew Salimian
Andrew Salimian was raised in New York and was involved with nonprofits dedicated to architecture, preservation and placemaking. He managed urban plazas with the Neighborhood Plaza Program, managed grants for the Mohawk Valley Collective, and fought for historic buildings at Friends of the Upper East Side. He has a B.S. in Architecture from the City College of NY and a M.S. in Historic Preservation from the Pratt Institute. He previously served as Pasadena Heritage’s Preservation Director for 5 years, but is excited to serve as the Director of Advocacy for the Los Angeles Conservancy.
