Diamond Bar does not currently have a historic preservation ordinance.
Though Diamond Bar has not yet enacted policies aimed at protecting privately owned historic resources, the topic is a point of discussion as the City contemplates ways to protect the historically significant, yet privately owned windmill that is one of the last vestiges of the original Diamond Bar ranch.
