TOUR EVENT: From YMCA to HOME: The Adaptive Reuse of Harbor House Tour
Tour times for this bundle are limited to 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.
Take an exclusive tour of Harbor House overlooking the Port of Los Angeles. Built in 1926 as the Army and Navy YMCA to serve San Pedro’s military personnel, it was heavily used during World War II before serving as a longtime transitional housing facility. Through adaptive reuse, Harbor House has undergone an exciting transformation, including restoring original features and reimagining areas for modern living. TOURS START EVERY HALF HOUR FROM 10 A.M. – 3 P.M.
PANEL DISCUSSION: HOME: Adaptive Reuse and Preservation’s Broader Role in Housing
The panel takes place 1:00-2:30 p.m.
We’re hosting a compelling panel discussion featuring experts in architecture, development, affordable housing, preservation advocacy, and beyond. Come prepared for a thoughtful, insightful exchange in the recently restored historic gymnasium of the Harbor House!

Harbor House, 921 S Beacon Street, San Pedro. The reservation confirmation email provides meeting and parking information.
