Community Leadership Boot Camp: Next Generation

Applications are now being accepted!

About the Program

The Los Angeles Conservancy is excited to announce the return of Community Leadership Boot Camp: Next Generation! After a successful pilot in 2024, this free program is now open to students in grades 9–12 across Los Angeles County.

Through five engaging sessions—four virtual and one in-person—students will explore historic sites, dive into hands-on activities, and take on advocacy-focused projects that build the skills and confidence to make a difference in their communities. Along the way, participants will also gain public speaking and storytelling experience, expand their community networks, and build confidence as changemakers.

Students must be currently registered or entering an accredited high school in L.A. County in fall 2025 to apply. There is no participation cost, and students who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion to highlight on their resumes and college applications.
