The L.A. Conservancy will bring you Preservation Perspectives: Meet the 2024 L.A. City Council Candidates—a series of interviews with run-off candidates in the November general election.

In Los Angeles, preservation sits at the crossroads of many pressing issues, including housing, economic development, and community identity. It offers tools that help us build more livable and just communities.

This year’s series will feature pre-recorded interviews with candidates from  Council District 10, an area of Los Angeles that contain high concentrations of historic places. Hear Heather Hutt and Grace Yoo (CD10), discuss their views on historic preservation and its role in their vision for Los Angeles.
