About the Artist

  • Ellen November

    Fiber Artist

Ellen November came to art quilts via a trail of her many creative passions. From painter to illustrator, graphic designer to photographer, Macintosh guru to art quilter. Art quilting combines all her skills. She graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA with a major in Illustration. She sees her work as illustration via fabric and soft materials, incorporating photography. Having lived in L.A. for 45 years, she finds deep significance in the uniqueness of L.A. architectural landmarks. The work that the L.A. Conservancy does matches perfectly with her focus on landmarks. She is thrilled to donate a generous portion of the proceeds from this online auction to benefit the Conservancy.

Her work can be seen at ellennovember.com
