The City of Industry does not currently have a historic preservation ordinance.

This largely industrial city owns and funds the operation of the Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum, which consists of the Workman House, a nineteenth century adobe; Casa Nueva, a Spanish Colonial Revival residence; and El Campo Santo, one of the oldest cemeteries in southern California.

However, the City has not yet enacted policies aimed at protecting privately owned, historic resources.
