CARRIE (1976) at The Million Dollar Theater
Saturday, October 25, 2025
8 p.m.
Relive the chilling shock of CARRIE (1976) on the big screen at the historic Million Dollar Theater. Brian De Palma’s masterful take on Stephen King’s breakout novel remains a haunting classic that blends psychological suspense with the supernatural.

CARRIE (1976)
Step into the tormented world of Carrie White in Brian De Palma’s iconic 1976 adaptation of Stephen King’s first novel, CARRIE.
With a legendary performance by Sissy Spacek, the film follows a shy, isolated high school girl raised by her fanatically religious mother. When a cruel prank at prom pushes her beyond her breaking point, Carrie unleashes a terrifying telekinetic fury etched into horror history.
CARRIE explores themes of bullying and the devastating consequences of social cruelty. Whether you’re revisiting this classic or seeing it for the first time, CARRIE remains as gripping and emotionally raw as ever.
Newly added! Catch Fleischer Cartoon‘s Koko Haunted House (1928) before the feature!
Guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest (or eeriest) prom attire, vintage 1970s glamour, blood-soaked chic, or your own haunted high school look. Be sure to view our costume guidelines.
