Inglewood
Inglewood does not currently have a historic preservation ordinance.
The City prepared a historic resource survey in 1998 that focused on Inglewood’s downtown area. The “Main Street Inglewood Survey, 1998” surveyed a total of 112 potentially eligible properties that are located within the area bounded by La Brea Avenue to the west, Locust Street to the east, Florence Avenue to the north, and Hillcrest Boulevard to the south.
While the City has not commissioned a survey update by professional preservation consultants, the Centinela Valley Historical Society is currently preparing a windshield survey of the northwest residential area of the city.
We don't know of any community-specific resources for local preservation in Inglewood, except the two documents linked at left. If you know of other resources, please let us know.
