While no citywide survey has yet been completed, two portions of the city have been surveyed for historic architectural resources. The “North Downtown Neighborhood Vision Plan” contains a 2003 historic resources survey conducted through the environmental review process, which identified 81 potential cultural resources built through 1956. The “Downtown Lancaster Specific Plan,” adopted in 2008, contains a history resource survey of 98 potential cultural resources built through 1960.
