We’re gathering at Greater Page Temple to explore how creative preservation meets real solutions for policy, community building and resilient neighborhoods. This event is presented by the Los Angeles Conservancy and City of Los Angeles Office of Historic Resources.

The L.A. Historic Neighborhoods Conference is back after a hiatus since 2018. Co-presented by the Conservancy and the City of Los Angeles Office of Historic Resources, this year’s sessions cover a range of neighborhood topics, including L.A.’s response to recent housing legislation, implementing objective design standards in HPOZs, how to support local legacy businesses and more! In the afternoon, several walking tours will be offered in adjacent historic neighborhoods.

    Evan Lovett is the creator of L.A. in a Minute and the host of the podcast In a Minute with Evan Lovett. Lovett began L.A. in a Minute to share the culture and history of his hometown, creating highly researched, entertaining videos about Los Angeles’ neighborhoods, infrastructure, culture, and food. Through media partnerships, Evan continues to explore the city’s history with curiosity, passion, and a personal, engaging perspective.

    Director of Communications, Los Angeles Conservancy

    Lisett leads the Los Angeles Conservancy strategic communications, overseeing digital platforms, media relations, marketing, and publications. A native Angeleno, she  joined the organization in 2018 and has nearly 25 years of experience advancing nonprofit visibility, engagement, and growth.
