The Linda Dishman Legacy Fund
Honor the L.A Conservancy’s retired President and CEO with a gift!
About the Linda Dishman Legacy Fund
The Linda Dishman Legacy Fund honors Linda Dishman, the Conservancy’s recently retired fearless leader for more than 31 years. To recognize her legacy of tirelessly working to preserve the places that matter most in our region, the Conservancy’s Board has established a fund that will help save places in Los Angeles by providing preservation grants to diverse partners throughout L.A. County on an ongoing basis.
These grants will offer a critical source of funding, available when most needed and used to help support important preservation efforts, such as historic context statements, feasibility studies, historic nominations, helping cities throughout Los Angeles County strengthen their municipal policies around preservation and supporting non-profits working to save places of cultural significance.
Matching Gift Challenge
The Scheetz Family Matching Gift Challenge!
Thanks to the Scheetz Family, your gift to the Linda Dishman Legacy Fund now goes twice as far!
Jill and Curtis Scheetz and their family are generously offering a $45,000 match to take the LDLF to the finish line by December 31. The donation is on behalf of their company, Total Environmental Management. This substantial gift is half of what we need to reach our million-dollar goal by the end of 2024. Help us finish this campaign so we can put those dollars into preservation work for the community through small grant and seed funds!
“Historic preservation protects and preserves the history of each town and city for future generations,” Jill says. “Without these buildings, the stories and lessons of the past would be lost forever.”
Please help us get to the finish line with a tax-deductible donation to the Linda Dishman Legacy Fund!
