Chantal Santoyo
Chantal is the Student and Family Program Coordinator the Conservancy. A first-generation college graduate, artist, and passionate arts advocate, Chantal brings a deep love for film, art, and youth engagement to her role.
In her position at the Conservancy, Chantal develops and leads educational programs that connect students and families with the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Los Angeles. She designs interactive and engaging activities that foster an appreciation for the city’s history while promoting the importance of preservation. Through her work, Chantal inspires young people and their families to become active participants in conserving their community’s heritage.
Chantal is dedicated to creating safe, expressive spaces for youth and families. Her innovative approaches foster community healing and growth through artistic expression. Previously, as a Program Associate at Create CA, she spearheaded impactful arts-focused initiatives, including orchestrating a successful training at CalArts for 500 students from across California. Her efforts transformed Arts Advocacy Day into the state’s largest student-focused arts advocacy training.
Through her initiatives, she continues to shape a future where the arts and heritage conservation plays a central role in community well-being and education.
