Discover L.A.’s Broadway

The Historic Broadway Theatre and Commercial District in downtown Los Angeles is home to the country’s largest concentration of historic theatres. Once the entertainment epicenter for downtown residents, the district has changed over the years.

Through a guided in-person or virtual tour, interactive lessons, and craft projects, students explore this storied historic district, its historic movie palaces, and Los Angeles’ evolving history and architecture.

Discover L.A.’s Broadway can be customized to support classroom learning and can be provided in one to three sessions. Teachers receive additional curriculum for further lesson planning.
