Adventures in Architecture

Adventures in Architecture

The L.A. Conservancy now offers Adventures in Architecture workshops in person and virtually!

Adventures in Architecture workshops take students on a virtual or in-person field trip to significant historic and culturally significant sites located within a unique Los Angeles neighborhood. Students will meet community members and learn why protecting historic places matters.

Together, we examine what makes a community and go on guided explorations that connect students to local history and build an understanding of preservation. Workshops are led live by Conservancy educators and support California’s Common Core State Standards in History and Social Sciences.

Adventures in Architecture can be customized to support classroom learning and is provided in three-to-six sessions. Virtual workshops are provided via Zoom.
