Kaptive Construction & Preservation (Kaptive C&P) was created to facilitate the merger of Clayton Group dba CGI Preservation and Kaptive Construction. This merger has created a full service historic masonry restoration and preservation firm with extensive experience in natural and man-made materials. It combines a background in art and architectural history with proven methodologies, products, and innovative thinking to achieve outstanding results within a project’s budget. In addition to our specialty subcontract work, Kaptive C&P is also a licensed general contractor, which allows us to coordinate other trades and media in the overall project. We have the ability to be responsible for the entire outside envelope of a building, so that in addition to our regular area of expertise in masonry, we can also be responsible for wood, metal, painting, site work, and other related trades.
